Recently, my friends and esteemed peers, Philip Charter and Pete Pozner, with whom I co-host the monthly Podcast, Trouble With Writing, staged a live event. It was a variation of what we do on the monthly podcast, that is, discuss the challenges that multiingual writers of English face, and suggest ways for them to overcome them. However, whereas our podcast is a more free-form disucssion, or chat with special guests, in this live event, we prepared focused agendas, including slideshows. I think this resulted in some focused and actionable tips for anyone interested in improving their writing, as well as the visual component that entails with using slides.
